Pastoral Care
Altar Flower Distribution
Following our Sunday morning services, the flowers are taken from the altar and distributed to members of our congregation that are in our prayers.
Card Ministry
We have a very special card and call ministry for those celebrating special events in their lives, suffering a loss, or simply need cheering up.
Friendly Visitors
"Friendly Visitors" of St. Mark's are available to visit people of St. Mark's. If you would enjoy a visit or know someone else who would, please let Kathy in the office know. (519-752-6451)
Luncheons for Seniors
Special midweek services are held four times a year (near Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving and a picnic in June) followed by lunch and a time of fellowship. These services are especially for senior adults who are prevented from attending church on a regular basis.
Pastoral Care & Eucharist to Shut-Ins
Eucharist Ministers are available to administer communion to shut-ins at home, in hospitals, retirement lodges and nursing homes. We currently officate at services at Brierwood Gardens, Leisureworld and the John Noble Home. Our clergy and lay visitors regularly attend to the care of anyone on our Parish List who is a shut-in. Our deacon is Chaplain at Brierwood Gardens. Both our rector and our deacon visit at the Brantford General Hospital once a week or more as needed. Anyone needing prayers are uplifted in our Sunday intercessions and on our Prayer Chain. As well, we care for the Anglicans at Tranquility Place and St. Joseph's Life Care Centre.
Prayer Chain
A group of people pray daily for healing for people in trouble and for families in need. To add a name for prayer to the prayer chain, please notify Kathy in the office at 519-752-6451.
