The Rev. John Ogilvie, Deacon

After 40 years in the grocery business, John shifted his thoughts towards helping others outside of our parish.  In the early 90's, he started conducting services at John Noble Home then began helping with services at Versa Care Centre.  In 2000, he was appointed Chaplain there and in the intervening years has met and assisted some wonderful senior citizens.  John completed required courses at Renison Institute of Ministry toward the Diaconate and interned at Versa Care and Trinity Church, Simcoe.  He was ordained a Deacon in February, 2009.  The emphasis of his ministry is outreach.
